Description
3 1967 US first flight covers from first flights for Air Mail Route 19: --Vancouver - Los Angeles, with a Canada stamp (and a Statue of Liberty) --Vancouver - Portland, with Oregon Territory Centennial stamps (and a George Washington) --Vancouver - San Francisco, with Winslow Homer stamps (Okay, these aren't directly linked to either city, as far as I know but they're pretty stamps! And they depict boats, and San Francisco is on the coast...) The covers are addressed with the flaps tucked in and have some corner bends (fairly significant wrinkles on upper left-hand corner of San Francisco cover). Most items under $20 ship in a first-class envelope with collectible stamps and with glassine (for loose stamps) and card stock for protection; more expensive or heavier items may go Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. Check out my store for stamps, postal stationery, and covers (first day, space, flight, and more) from the US and worldwide. Most items come from my historian dad’s collection amassed over the course of more than 65 years. He specialized in the US, Nepal, and mountain climbing but collected from all continents.
